in-lite NERO: Durable and powerful ground spots

The in-lite NERO stands out with its sturdy build and dark grey coated finish, making it a perfect fit for any garden. These ground spots are built for in-ground installation and come in three different versions:

in-lite NERO

With a diameter of 130 mm, the NERO is the smallest of the three, yet it remains powerful. It can illumi-nate trees up to 8 meters high with ease, thanks to its single-chip LED technology and LEDiL lens.

in-lite Big NERO

The Big NERO is ideal for lighting up large and wide elements, such as tall trees. It provides a wide 52-degree beam angle with a maximum reach of 6.5 meters. Thanks to in-lite MOTION technology, ad-justing the angle of the light source becomes super easy, allowing for more precise lighting control.

in-lite Big NERO Narrow

Designed for tall and narrow elements, the Big NERO Narrow projects a focused beam that can reach up to 13 meters in height. Perfect for columnar trees and other vertical structures, this version also features the adjustable in-lite MOTION technology, allowing you to fine-tune the beam to highlight your garden's best features.

Installing in-lite NERO ground spots

Installing and connecting in-lite ground spots is simple and straightforward. They can be easily connected to an existing in-lite 12V system using an Easy-Lock connector. If you don’t have an in-lite system yet, you’ll also need a transformer and a ground cable.

Placement options;

in-lite ground spots can be installed in various types of surfaces, such as soft ground (soil, grass), gravel, wood, or paving stones.

•    For soft ground: Simply dig a hole and place the fixture.
•    For paved or wooden surfaces: Drill a hole for a flush installation (drill hole size: 116 mm for NERO, 142 mm for Big NERO and Big NERO Narrow).

Connecting to an Existing System

With the included Easy-Lock system, you can install your ground spot to a ground cable fast and easily. Warning! The Big NERO and Big NERO Narrow must be connected to an in-lite 10/2 cable with a maxi-mum length of 40 meters to ensure optimal performance.

Setting Up a New System

If you don’t have an in-lite garden lighting system yet, you will need a transformer and ground cable first.

Step 1: Transformer

The foundation of the in-lite system is the transformer. It converts the 230V power from your outlet into a safe 12V output. The transformer also includes useful features such as a dusk-to-dawn sensor and a timer. There are three different transformers to choose from. Step 2: Ground cable

Connect a 12V low-voltage ground cable to the transformer. An in-lite ground cable supplies power to your lights. Installing an in-lite ground cable is simple and can be done in five easy steps. Based on our experience, we recommend creating a cable plan as part of your overall lighting plan. For the in-lite NERO, you can use either the in-lite 14/2 cable, suitable for lengths up to 40 meters, or the in-lite 10/2 cable, which supports lengths up to 80 meters. However, for the Big NERO and Big NERO Narrow, you must use the in-lite 10/2 cable with a maximum length of 40 meters.
